The LOT serves honest food with locally sourced, farm-to-table ingredients. Our extensive, flavorful menu features meats, vegetables and cheeses sourced from local farmers and ranchers, and a fresh juice bar with add-on spirits. We’ve got delicious, healthy choices that will please every palate — but our rotisserie chicken (known here simply as “The Chicken”) is the star of the show. Chopped on the bone with roasted garlic, fresh herbs, lemon and roasted hot peppers, and served with dipping bread, you can order yours whole, half, or get it to go.

Locally owned and operated, The LOT represents a collaboration between some of the best creative minds in the area. Operated by Dallas restaurateur John McBride, with interior design and architecture by Hatsumi Kuzuu, and a menu created by East Dallas native Sharon Hage, we embrace the East Dallas community, and use locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible. Our beer garden includes a rotating selection of Texas craft brews, and our Children’s Garden and Play Area were designed by Elizabeth Dry (Promise of Peace Garden) and John Wolf.

This is your neighborhood restaurant — and we invite you to come by any time, and make yourself at home.

We proudly serve food and drinks by these Dallas companies:
Veldhuizen Cheese (Dublin, Texas)
Luscher’s Post Oak Red Hots (Dallas, Texas)
